Tackling the ‘black dog’ in transport
We’re working with mental health advocates Beyondblue to tackle mental health issues in transport.
Transport workers face many difficulties at work, including issues that affect their health and wellbeing. Isolation, abuse, fatigue, disruptive shift patterns and poor access to nutritious food all contribute to higher risk of mental and physical health concerns.
The TWU’s priority is to ensure workers are protected from harm.
