We are affiliated with Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU) and the International Transport Federation (ITF).

A not for profit organisation, TEACHO, has been established to conduct training in the transport industry.  The TWU sits on the board together with employer and academic representatives. The company has an independent chair.
